Polartec® NeoShell®

Polartec® NeoShell® is the first fabric to combine the superior breathability, ventilation, and stretch of a Soft Shell with the waterproof performance of a Hardshell, delivering the best of both worlds. Created from a hydrophobic, micro-porous, polyurethane membrane with a tightly controlled range of pore sizes, it offers the stretch of a polyurethane film plus the breathability of a micro-porous structure. This unique construction allows positive air exchange to drive moisture vapour release while remaining waterproof, making it ideal for highly aerobic activities such as mountaineering, ski mountaineering and backcountry skiing.
